Which one do you prefer to be the symbol? Do you even want either as an symbol?

Nah, the anchor is better

I voted for the elephant because it would be unique for Roma Surrectum, and the more we can make the mod unique the better. I also think the elephant is a better symbol to represent the Seleucids -- their empire really was an elephant, enormous and incredibly powerful, but slow and cumbersome and tough to control. It's the perfect symbol for them.
I do think though that the anchor symbol you created is the best yet done for any mod, so if we don't use it I think you should offer it to other mods, it would be a shame if it didn't get used somewhere.

I voted for the elephant, because it's different, and it's got 'class' written all over it!

Wasn't the elephant the RTR symbol for Bactria? I may be mistaken.

Yeah, it was, but it was silver on a pink/orange background, not gold on blue.
Also, it was facing the other direction, smaller, and not as detailed.
yeah, what he said![]()

im in love with the elephant, maybe you could increase the contrast between the two colours? so a very slightly brighter elephant?

Yes, the elephant should be brighter -- the Seleucids loved bright colors and displays of wealth.
But it is now consistant with the 'burnished' look of the other symbols. I think it's fine the way it is. If you brighten it up, then it sticks out like a sore thumb.

It needs to be a bit brighter, so does the owl, in fact I think several of them should be brightened a bit, they look too dour. Not a lot brighter, but just a touch.
The elephant, by a trunk!
cherry, I'm tempted to edit your comment for the horrible pun, but I'll let it slide.
Take me now!
I can't take this any more!
I'm going to close this thread, as the decision has been made:
