Anyone have a E6600 and a 7800gt?

Hi Fellas! I just bought a new mobo and a E6600 C2D processor from newegg. They wont get to me until Tuesday though The waiting is already driving me crazy!! I'm keeping my existing GeForce 7800gt video card for now and I have 2 gigs of RAM. Right, to the point. Does anyone have a similar set-up? Can anyone give their impressions? How does it perform with games? Especially total war games?

I have/had a 4300 that was about the same speed as a 6600 and a 7800gtx and it ran m2tw @ medium detail @ 1680x1050 (the GPU is a little weak for 22" gaming) but at 1024x768 i could max every setting without issue

it was large or huge when i did that.. when I had mine clocked @ 4Ghz it was running huge without any real effort.
