History has changed!

The date is 2007 there is No United states of America
there is no British England, France, Germany, Or Russa.
Why you may ask!
In my campaign the date was 156 B. C.
My Roman Empire fell because of the hordes of Gauls!
And because of their fall Greece lost out as well ! And most factions.
Seleucides were lasting out til a alleance with the east and Gaul was made.
Because of the lost of Rome, Everything was burned!
Temples, Alexanderia , And greek ideas.
Nothing but blood and fire! Because the fall of Rome it didnt develope into an empire. Arts, Medicine, Math, All liberal Arts Gone!
And since the gauls took the north no england! And if no england then no
expanding their empire towards the americas.
So if no America or England or fance or Russa.
No advanancement in tect. And inventions!
The dark ages came to early! The Time of barbarians.
millions upon millians died.
The World today if present condions lasted. Would be a mix of Gauls
Barbarians, and Eastern China,
This is what happened after my last General fell!


Give me your views what could of happened if My Roman Empire fell
at this date. 156. b.c. And if the major factions were Gauls.
and pontics. leaveing the last faction Seleucides the weakest.

P.s. at the time of my last General
i saw over 60 stacks comeing into the Roman Terr.
and still smaller stacks in the reagon. A small stack was 10 to 7
each stack has at least 2,000 men.
so you do the math!

If I see 60 stacks of gauls. I say bring it on. Must know your enemy before u fight them.

And just because the barbarian took over and destroyed the roman empire and took over england doesn't mean crap. They would advance in technology as well. Just because they didn't speak latin or greek doesn't mean they were barbarian. That was the defintion of a barbarian from the roman point of view. And the persians were not barbarians...nor the egyptians nor Carhage. All these people made extreme advances in technology.

I think you have just experienced what the Romans DID experience themselves....the overwhelming numbers of BARBARIANS! Next time, you must do what Caesar did.....burn, exterminate, destroy, and otherwise do it to them before they do it to Rome!

I do agree, however, that if Rome had not fallen, we may well be living on the Moon, Mars, and who knows...other planets. The loss of the Empire set mankind back well over a thousand years. The Romans were on the verge of tremendous technological breakthrus...they already had glass windows, plumbing, bronze valves, the understanding of steam power, water driven escalators, mechanized labor, and who knows what else we'll find in the ashes that they were working on, or had built that the BARBARIANS destroyed and burned up.

So when this Patch comes out, swhunter, begin a new campaign, and death to all barbarians!!

I like my empire. The next patch means I will have to make a new one. Oh well. This next patch is going to be awesome. If the romans never fell and pushed back the barbarian Hordes. (Which would of shown on how truly bad ass the romans were). I think we will traveling the stars by now
