I always used to make this city the capital of my Armenian empire back in RTW. Put it in with the same name (instead of Urfa) just for old time's sake.

It did have a large Armenian minority at this time, left over from it becoming a large trade hub of Tigranes the Great. Well done! We call it Urha, though.

Its my private rtw mod, I added some units for armenia. Pontic light cavalry which I renamed Cacuasian light cavalry for armenians. And then Cappadocian cavalry. Infantry to, Royal palace swordsmen(the ones u see on the UI, bottom right).

Anyways, mirage how many provinces are there in BC?

I just dont want it to be only Siege battles. If you understand what I mean. Like in RTR I got so bored, it was only siege battles :/

Don't know how many there are in vanilla, obviously less. If you look at all the map screens I posted, you'll see that settlements are generally well-spaced to allow for many field battles.

These are the starting lands of Khwarezm. It's similar to the starting area of Parthia in RTR/TE/EB.

Here we have the Khwarezmian capital of Urgench located on the Amu Darya river. To the North-west is Khiva, an ancient city nestled on the fertile delta which empties into the Aral Sea.


To the east lies citadel of Bukhara on that same Amu Darya river. To the south is the fertile region of Balkh - in RTR you may have known it as "Bactra".

Woohoo, that sounds great. The Khwarezm Cataphracts against Jerusalem Guard and the Heavy Daylamis vs Foot Knights.

Should make for a sweet battle. I like the Legionary fighting style of the Daylamis.

Yeah, I actually built my Khwarezm army in a roman style. Daylami inf acting as hastatis, Daylami heavies as principes. That combined with archers and the legendary cataphracts is really a unstoppable. You can waste most enemies just with the javelin storm.

Needless to say you'll see some pics soon enough.
