it seems like the only real solution is the nm command
Its a shame, about the commandline switch, surely it's a code that is creating the no movie, for example "if -nm then action" if such a code doesn exist then one could edit it for only the game loading videos don't play, But i'm guessing it's hardcoded to the actual launcher

IIRC, you don't even need to create a one frame video. An empty text file renamed correctly should work.

Adding a video named just like the original one in the modfolder doesn't seem to make a difference, the game still uses the original. Unless I'm doing something wrongly.
AlexanderTW has a text file that allows to manipulate the videos, including he intros, but RTW and BI unfortunately don't.
