Even though i'm more into B5 myself, i must say of Star Trek series TNG is my favorite definately.
Why? Picard, Data and Worf.![]()
I like Star Wars more but I have got to go with my main man Picard. I mean come on. Although really I like all of them except Voyager and Enterprise. And even those two were not THAT bad.

The Next Generation is the best.
Has more adult and mature themes than any other of the Star Treks.
A lot of the episodes actually make a social/politicall point to them!
The original is the worst by far,People just latch onto nostalgia and get teary eyed about 'the original' but the orginal really wasn't all that. The episode with Spock hypnotized crawling on his knees pretending to be a horse making horsey noises just put me of the orginal for ever.
Although i do like the films with the original cast and crew in it.
1.Next Generation
2.Deep Space Nine
3.Voyager
4.Enterprise (this was poop as well)
5.Orginal
Next Generation is best, what a question.![]()

The Original Series I don't know liked them the best.
They were the first and definetly original.

Next Gen. "Best of Both Worlds pt. 1" was the best episode of any Star Trek franchise ever. DS9 is my runner-up - it had some of the coolest space battles, especially after the Dominion War started.
1.TNG - Im so glad this went in a rather different direction to the original. To me this is where the trek really began. And Patrick Stewart is an amazing actor.
2.Voyager - The latest series (chronologically) and with the computer technology available at the time it was made there came some amazing futuristic sci-fi stuff.
3.Enterprise - This was much more popular in the UK than it was in the US. It was said that Americans generally have a lower attention span thus prefering single story episodes like in the other series. Enterprise featured many stories that spanned across many episodes. I tend to be more open-minded than to immediately think that is true but Enterprise was, sadly, canceled. There were some great moments in this series. And... T'Pol... anyone?
4. The Original - Admittedly I have only seen a small number of episodes from this series but the cheese is there. And its at large.
5. Deep Space 9 - Last, but not least as I have not seen a single episode of DS9. Can't find it on any channel here in the UK. However, im quite sure it would rank above the original at least.

Deep Space nine is very 'star wars' like.
Lots of big space battles and big empires fighting against one another.Probably the most epic of the lot.
TNG FTW!

The Next Generation and then Deep Space Nine.
I like the original series but its more there for comedy value, it is a cheap 60s sci-fi show afterall.
I liked enterprise after they got it going. Too bad they had a horribly bad last episode and it was canceled too early.
Many say its a ripoff of the concept for Babylon 5. The plot followed babylon 5 as well.... both series were great in their own way though. However if you liked DS9 watch B5.Deep Space nine is very 'star wars' like.
Yes, too bad they made good effort in ruining the borg afterwards.Next Gen. "Best of Both Worlds pt. 1" was the best episode of any Star Trek franchise ever.

Voyager, i think the premise is the best of all Treks.
then TNG
then DS9
then Orignal
then Enterprise (leave the timeline aloneyou fools)
Hammer & Sickle - Karacharovo
And I drank it strait down.
1) I had to vote for the original because Shatner is hilarious and Nimoy is superb, plus there are sexy green-blue-reallycoveredinburnsfromacrashedspaceshipwhenshewasyoungandnowaboutninetybutmadetolookhotbyalienswithmassiveheadswholiveunderground-ladies in miniskirts.
2) If I was more of a geek I would vote for Next Generation. Picard Riker and Data are great characters. Troy is Greek hotness made flesh and even Beverly Crusher gets hot mid way through. The worst thing about NG is we had to watch Wesley Crusher go through puberty. I hated his pale, soft, greasy, shining, spotty, swollen face.
3) Voyager has 7of9 (please assimilate me!!!!) which means it scores highly even though Janeway has a really irritating whisper where a voice should be. The doctor (EMH) was the best character.

I voted for TOS, although I think TNG is the better series - it's just because TOS was more revolutionary at its time and there wouldn't be any TNG if TOS hadn't paved the way.
All in all, I was most eager to watch the next DS9 episode, as it introduced long, continuous stories to the series, but that was also a major deduction from the concept - you could watch any TOS and TNG episode on its own, without having any background knowledge. DS 9 turned it into a soap opera.
Personally, Ilieked voyager the least - even enterprise was better

Yeah. Shatner can eat it. TNG all the way.

The one with Picard. I don't watch it regularly though.
I enjoyed both Star Trek AND Star Wars - why does there have to be a big conflict between the two?
Anyway:
Next Generation had the best writing and character development.
Deep Space 9 had the best action and battle sequences.
Enterprise had interesting long-term plot-lines [you're wrong to blame its failure on this point though - look at shows like 'Lost' and the remake of 'Battlestar Galactica'].
Original Series has comic daftness at just how terrible it seems now.
Voyager had no advantages of any kind. It was dreary through and through.
As for T'Pol being sexy - I never saw this myself. I much preferred the chick who played Yoshi, or whatever her name was.
