Can I plug this in?
I've just bought http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...373116-1722247 This steering wheel. However, I am now suddenly having doubts as to the compatibility of this. It states in the extended system specifications that it needs 1 x USB - 4 PIN USB Type A. My Dell Dimension 8400 has USB ports, but what is all this 4 pin malarkey? Can anyone help? Cheers.

Re: Can I plug this in?
"4 pin USB type A" is just a standard USB connector.
I don't know why they are so specific about it, they could have just said "USB".
Don't worry, it will be compatible.
edit: They are probably this specific because it needs a powered USB port, which all regular USB ports are (2 pins for data, 2 for power), but some USB connectors on USB hub's aren't.
As long as you connect it directly to the computer you don't have to worry about it, because USB ports on computers are always powered, but if you use a USB hub you should check if it's powered or not.
