Is there any way to script the enemy AI so that they stay in one line when attacking? I often find that in order to flank me they always take the units out of the center of the line and I can split their army in two and (too) easily win battles. I feel this is also fairly unrealistic as no self-respecting general would create a large hole in his center like that.

Maybe make the unit size bigger such as if it has 100 units in it make it to its max

I have played with 'huge' unit settings and they still do the same thing: they just open a hole so I can waltz right through.

Maybe you should try darth´s formation or sinhuet´s formations...
