    Default A thought about Mongols

Historically the Mongols simply sacked, burned and pillaged rather then captured enemy settlements. It's probably not possible but could they be modded to always sack cities rather then take them, and be put in some sort of "horde" mode like in Barbarian Invasion. Maybe they could be given a certain number of armies after every city they sack.

Yah not a real feasible option but it would be nice if we could reflect the fear and devastation they created.

The quickest route may not always be the most fun.

There are a few things I can do. But I'll focus on them later.

I call shenanigans on this; the Mongols weren't polite to those who defied them, but their Empire coalesced into the Golden Horde and the Il-Khanate in the west, which, when they settled down and absorbed Islam, became a plateau of culture far above the west. It was Timerlane that built towers of skulls and sent every bit of wealth and talent back to Samarkand.

Excellent Mod btw, best out for MTW2 by far, blows AD out of the water stability wise. The Seljuk armies have rolled over the entire SE 1/4 of the map, and I await the hordes with huge cities full of halbadiers . Only complaint is huge diplomacy problems, as I cannot ally with any factions, and random declarations of war are made against me by both muslim and christian factions without anything happening (blockade, battle etc). Weird things will happen, like getting a faction update where Russia goes to war with every faction simultaneously, or where I suddenly go abysmal with the Fatimids because I destroy a crusader army. Otherwise, the economy is near perfect, population growth is quick, but if your a brilliant leader building a huge economic base then you should get dividends.

Reading that makes me want to play this mod!!!

    Hopefully it'll work.

All the other mods I've tried such as (AD, LTC, Deus Lo Vult) didn't work.

AD kept giving me errors even after multiple vanilla installation.

LTC felt like I was playing the same old M2TW.

Deus Lo Vult won't work on 1.1 and 1.2 is highly unstable for me for some reason.
