Re: Unlimited men on battlefield
Go to the directory to which you installed M2TW.
Open up medieval2.preference.cfg with Notepad
Go down to the "[game]" section
If you see "unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 0", simply change to 0 to a 1 and hit save. If you don't see that line at all, simply add it to the end of the "[game]" section and save.

Re: Unlimited men on battlefield
Does this mean you can control more than 20 stacks?

Re: Unlimited men on battlefield
no it means that u can have more than 3000 men on the battlefield at one time i believe. you can only control 1 stack which equals 20 units at one time, but more can be on the field controlled by the ai.

Re: Unlimited men on battlefield
Yeah, basically the player can only control at max a single stack of 20 units, whilst the AI could thoeretically have several full stacks coming at you at once. Due to the inherent unfairness of this system I leave it at '0', as at least a player who can only control a single stack is able to face the AI armies more-or-less seperately, giving them a fighting chance.

I can't wait for the next plug in 4 Campaigns and the new ability to somehow control more than your own stack...
