Manstein's Multiplayer Madness
That's right, folks, we're starting up our very own TWC MP game with EU3. For those of you who are new to this type of thing, it's fairly simple: everyone picks a different country and at a designated time during the week (most likely a Saturday) we all get together and battle things out. It's a lot like single player, just more difficult yet fun (and slower, since you don't have the ability to pause whenever you please). I'm hoping we can get started in a few weeks after everyone's finals are done - late May, or thereabouts.

Don't worry about picking your country yet; we'll probably place some restrictions oon which ones are allowed since the game will be over pretty quickly if everyone picks a major power (and it'd be fun to eventually convert to Victoria: for a good example, look here - these guys took the same MP game from Crusader Kings all the way through HoI2...900 years of MP goodness!). We can start working out the details if we get some interest. So, without further ado, I present the list:

Ok, we have quite a few players so it's time to start determining who plays what. For now we'll use a first come, first serve basis - post your request in this thread or PM me and I'll add it beside your name. Just one qualification - we're trying to start with an even playing field, so no major countries will be human-controlled to start. By 'major' I mean countries like France, England, Spain, Burgundy, Lithuania, and any others that are quite bit larger than the rest. Shoot for 6-7 provinces or less. We can probably make an exception for non-European countries since they have such a difficult time acquiring tech (although I'm not sure we want anyone playing as Ming China for now).
House Rules
- No blitzing other human players - i.e., swarming another player's borders with your entire army seconds after declaring war. We'll save that for HOI2.
Weekly Awards
Each week the game host will attribute several awards. (this is pending complete confirmation since it involves savegame editing).
- Any player that writes a AAR within 3 days after the gaming session will be awarded 50 gold.
- The players with the overall largest army will be rewarded with 40 gold.
- The player with the largest navy will be awarded 40 gold.
- If the same nation has both the largest army and largest navy it will receive both awards (30 + 30 gold) and an extra 40 gold.
- The largest nation (number of provinces, not colonies) will receive a 40 gold award.
- Any nation who has been at peace for a period of 10 or more years will receive a 50 gold award.
- The nation with more colonies will receive a 30 gold award.
- The nation who controls more CoT's will receive a 30 gold award.
- Cumulative awards (one nation winning several awards) may never exceed 200 gold.
