    Default Map End Turn Question

    1. tornnight, I am taking a break from TLR while you work on the merc project and am trying the Dues Lo Vult based on the unnofficial 1.2 patch. They use spurious big map 1.06 and it makes the end turn session take almost one minute, how come this never seems to happen in TLR????

I look forward to your next release. Dues Lo Vult has some neat RPG aspects but it truly doesn't have the gampeplay of TLR

    2. Any possibility on an update of the ETA for your next release, that is merc project beta, etc?????

The quickest route may not always be the most fun.

They use a bunch of scripts to do things like generate garrisons on the fly and spawn rebels. There has to be 1 script for each thing for each settlement.

    Thats a LOT of scripts.

I decided that it wasn't worth it. Kills the fun to have to wait.

Hehe the next version will have tons of new goodies. Some that are similar to those RPG things you mention.

I've actually discovered something noone has been able to do ever before. Remove ancillaries via script.

ETA? Dunno. It's getting much closer but at least a week or two.

    It wil include things like
    Event Graphics
    Leadership Crown Ancillaries
Command, Battle Experience, Governance, and Military Rank traits.
    Islamic Princesses
    New Factions,
    AOR/ZOR Mercenary Troop recruitment

It's going to be a big one.

tornnight you just made my work day. I will gladly wait for the upcoming patch. Now if only CA would release a solid 1.2.

Sounds like you are combining the best of both worlds with this next update. DLV is fun but it's no TLR and the turn wait is a bit of a game killer, I'll see how much more of it I can take, but more than likely I'll go back to TLR.

The quickest route may not always be the most fun.
