Default Using animations to model, now can't get out

I have a bit of a problem here. I was using an animation CAS to position the shield on a model. I got it in a sweet spot (very few clipping problems) and saved. Now I don't know how to get it back to the default position model CAS files load up in -standing straight with arms raised to shoulders.

Is there a way to reset the model? In other words, lose the animation sequence while keeping the model? Or have I just screwed myself up?

As far as i know you've messed it up you should never export when its posed. Others mite know different but as far as i know you cant remove an animation.

I messed up one unit once, just like that.
I only found out though, after I checked the unit ingame, where it was actually working fine, so -as a last resort- maybe check that out, if you haven't any safe copies.

I had the same problems in a trial that I´ve made. To solve it I imported an unmodified model and chose "export animation". That way I got an "animation" file that only contained the default stance, standing straight with spread-out arms.
So after testing the model for clipping with various animations you simply can import this default animation and your model can be exported without trouble.

Yes this works all the time. I've got this default pose saved as 000_default.cas so it's always at the top of my animation list. I go between default and posed all the time to check whether things work OK.
