They seem to pop up out of nowhere and are really starting to annoy me. Even pious characters dont seem to be immune to getting the trait. How do i get rid of the trait in game or were can i delete it all together?

It's annoying, for sure. And once the father gets one it seems like his sons will always get one too.
I always get the Pagan Magician and Astrologer

Another couple of ways is to do this:
Use the ~ toggle to bring the console menu down. Select the character who has the trait and put them outside of a city. While they are still selected type "remove_ancillary this magician_pagan" without the quotes and this will remove that pesky ancillary. You could also edit the export_descr_ancillaries and find "Ancillary magician_pagan", then change the line "ExcludeCultures mesoamerican" to "ExcludeCultures mesoamerican, southern_european, northern_european, greek, eastern_european, middle_eastern". This should eliminate him from the game altogether. Hope this helps.![]()
Thanks for the help. Finally i can play with out fear of those pesky things. Now if only i could assassinate my lemon agents my games will be far more pleasant.
Moved to Text Editing and Scripting in the Mod Workshop.
i can't work out why my princesses are getting the mentor Ancillary, i've checked the export_descr_ancillaries and it reads
should i change it toTrigger mentor_vnv_trigger
WhenToTest CharacterComesOfAge
Condition FatherAttribute Authority >= 2
and not AgentType = princess
AcquireAncillary mentor chance 15
Trigger mentor_vnv_trigger

AcquireAncillary mentor chance 15
Why to get rid of them? I think they are coolI just had to love my king, Henry the Tyrant, with maximum dread, maximum authority, minimum piety, pagan magician on the top of the retinue list and an adultress or two
Really one to be trembled and despaired before
No pope was safe while he was alive
