    Normally, you'd think that a combination of Death/Power metal and John Williams score for Star Wars would be an unworkable combination... but you'd be wrong.

    The band is called Anchorhead (from the UK I believe) and I'd seriously recommend you listen/watch it all the way through.

    Here's their myspace (with the Audio tracks, in better quality)

    And, someone has cut footage of the movie to the track, and they've done a pretty good job of it too. Unfortunately it sounds a bit poor when streamed through youtube.

    Part 2:

    Enjoy!

    Indeed, some of it sounds good, hehe. They play amazingly well, but I'd expect that of a band of such genre, who people think that's the same thing that screamo sometimes is, which is quite irritating. Anyways, I love their guitar tunes, sound great.

    Freakin' cool.

    I know Metallica made a version of the Imperial march, it's actually pretty good.

    @victor.
    I meant the vocals, people that aren't on the music scene confund hardcore, screamo, death metal and that stuff all the same, which is not. If you know so much, you'd already thought of this, there exist more countries than USA or Uk, which have their unique music, not the same ocidental rock origined stuff, duh.

    wow mang i have no idea what countries have to do with this; a genre is a genre. don't even start, i tour with my band and i know this music scene to the point. ive played with so many bands from around the world and met all different people, i live it. so save your lectures. and besides that, what the hell is your point? and who is this small margin of people that could mistake this obvious straight up metal for screamo??? perhaps yourself ?

    im over this.

    anyways, @ rhah, how did you come across this band?

    A mate of mine gave me a CD of them, and at first i thought it would just be some lame Death metal band that he knew trying to play the Star Wars theme so I didnt bother listening to it. Then the other day I was bored and came across the CD, put it on and was suitably impressed.
