Looking at those, now I actually want Peasants as a standard unit in all muh armies. We can have a unit of them stand next to the General acting as his safeguard. Give your life to... "Protect the King"...
They are Glorious....![]()
Well, if you guys liked the previous ones, here's a bit of improvement (in think) in some of the gambesons' normal maps.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to paleologos again.
Just when I thought it couldn't get better
Thanks guys, I appreciate this.
Shouldn't be so hard, given how many guys are doing all sorts of great stuf, just not so many of then are still working on M2TW after ten years.
It can (almost) always get better.
I am currently working on improving the "square" padded gambesons.
A few more glimpses at what's brewing over at the Titanium parts.
(You need to be logged-in to view them)
Don't forget to post-in your comments.
Thank you, there are actually four types of gambesons, three of them have two different colorations each, I tried for grey-crem and tan and the one with the triangle pads appears only once in tan/beige.
It's the fifth from the left in the screenshot above but I wasn't happy with it.
This is how it looked, close up:
And this is how it looks now:
I think now it is on par with the rest.
Also, the UV mapping on the blue felt hat has been fixed, you won't see the seams any more and the burgundy hat has been replaced with a green, I think it is better this way.
Though I made them for Titanium, the models will be released for general use, as resources, very soon, hopefully by Monday.
I always liked Claudillo's romans, but i cant download as none of the links are working.
The screenshots at post #3669 are not Caudillo87's, they are my models, so are the models in post #3668.
You can download them from here.
Also, I have just uploaded the peasants!
i just realized that a lot of screenies from years past have been lost becasue imageshack, which we all seemed to use regularly in the past, lost our saved images, so many pages of this thread are now bleak and barren
But photobucket works!
and im gonna try to see how using a mobile device works, haha
