    Default unclear???

    will my current campaign accept the patch???...or do i need to start over...it looks as though i may be able to continue w/ my saved campaign, but i could not find concise information anywhere "specifically" stating that i could continue playing 6.2 w/ the 6.3 patch added mid-campaign...if i missed the explanation above in the sticky's i do apologize as i cannot locate the answer to my querie...many thanx, hannibeau...

    it will not work completely with new 6.3 fixes and additions such as archer fix, you will likely get a diplomat bug (dont talk to anything) and wont get new ui cards for imperial legionnaries so i recommend starting a new campaign or just stick with 6.2 until you finish that campaign

    look through some threads such as "diplomats" about what problems he experienced cos i hav not suffered that specific problem personally

    How did you kill 40,000 enemies with only 1000 casualties may I ask? It seems impossible to me..

    My kill ratio is 4 enemies to 1 roman, but yours is 40 to 1 roman..

    i seem only to have added up roman casualties from my first 4 battles i will update after post!

    no i know what i did now.... i forgot one of the 9's

    and as for your early question garnier i fought my first two battles in the mountains north of Arretium (gauls) killing about 3500 each time and losing circa. 100 romans granting me an insane kill rate!

    although i must admit i cheated a little i set up in the mountains ands they had to slog it up there if i new how to post screenshots and host them i would show you some

    Ah that makes sense. I figured some mistake had been made.

    As for my battles I always try to fight on flat ground. Its just easier and more fun for me. Of course if I get in a spot where there is a hill on the map with impassible rocks around half of it, I will take advantage of that...

    i have not had any problems using my 6.2 savegame and continuing it in 6.3

    my diplomats still seem to work just fine

    Do enemy archers shoot at your heavy infantry? and are there archer units in the garrison (if you're using the garrison script)

    Yes they do and Yes there are More archers now in the garrison script.

    HEAVY rain, and in Testudo with Late Legionaries, Archers MAY not fire on them, cant help this as Heavy Rain really nocks down the attack on the Archers and Testudo gives a shield bonus. Other than that all should work fine, takes getting used to as for a long while we had archers not do much damage but now I think its back to what it was when the 1.2 patch was out before the new one.

    Yes they do and Yes there are More archers now in the garrison script.
    speaking of archers, i actually had 4 units of roman archers spawn into my army when i captured mediolanium, was this intended ? because so far it has only happened that one time, and i dont even have buildings that can recruit archers

    does that mean the script can also work for the player ?

    Ive seen that quite a few times. I think the script gives roman archers to you because the city was enemy that turn and there is an army next to it. Not sure exactly how it works.
