Default Why cant you pillage and loot enemy rebel land?

Well why cant you devastate hostile land`? Im playing as the Casse and used my units to take over enemy Eleturoi watchtowers. They made no devastation whatsoever despite the rebels being able to devastate about 5-6 squares in just one turn.

Ideas? Im playing it on the BI.EXE

Im getting sick of this, its impossible to siege without being starved!! (As the sieger)

As far as the vanilla devasation graphic goes, it depends on things. The bigger the army, the more devastation. Also, there will be more devastation if you are on one of the 'fertility' ground types.

As for the EB supply trait, only a few factions can cancel it out through foraging and pillaging. Namely the nomads. All other factions, (basically) lose moral no matter what as they endure long seiging. If your general is good, he can get traits that improve his ability to get supplies in enemy territory.
