A what "IF" scenario with iraq, and Iran.
I know you ladies, and gents, have probably done this to death, but i wanted to ask, so i could get an idea later on for a report on hist.
What would happen, if, when we invaded iraq, we toppled the evil regime, but instead, left saddam alone, as a puppet, instead of killing him, under american rule, and as a buffer aganist iran.
how would the world from 03-07 be like, still a stand off with iran? Or do we supply iraq wiht weapons so they can wage war, how would the poltics of other islamic nations act, or be like, will they wage war on iraq for being a puppet etc?

If we had Saddam as the leader of Iraq? Umm, I don't think the man would have listened very well to us.
