custom battle Dwarves,Elves,Orcs 1.9

I thought I would edit my own edu and make the new dwarves playable in custom battles, has well has the orcs and elven archers. I also added the Knights Of Dol Amroth back to the Reunited kingdom.

put file in Rome-total war\bi\ci\data and it will ask to overwrite so click yes.

Great to see people continueing off my old work! Which I was too lazy to continue... What did you do trynyty? All that he should have done in theory was remove the no_custom tags, although I'm not sure on what else.

Sorry guys I have not been around for a little bit. And yes I removed only the no custom tag, so trynyty I don't no what your problem would be then you sure you put it in ci/date or maybe you edited the edu yourself at one point? Hey Gen_Angmar, yes I wondered if you where gonna get around to updating yours. But I just wanted to try out those Awesome Dwarves.

Yeah, the process seemed simple enough at first, but after I drastically increased the ambitiousness of the project and subsequently failed, I gave up.

Maybe I'll do something in 2.0 should it ever come out.

Just tested this, removed the no custom tags, played custom for a while then for some strange reason it ctds on me. Dont get me wrong, everything works but 3 quarters the way through the battle it ctds on me and I cuss like no tomorro. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thats weird, what do you mean by removed the no custom tags? They already are removed for the units I made available for custom. Also what units where you using that you had a ctd?

Nah, I didnt download your file as I knew where to look to edit it, found the cutesy dwarfs, removed the 'no custom tags', then saved. In the export_descr_unit yes?

Anyway, it crashes 3 quarters of the way through a battle. I used all three of the new dwarf units and was playing against some random dunlending force in custom. It was an all infantry battle. Everything running smoothly then ctd on me. Twice. But nvm, I tried again today and it seems to be working, finished the battle for once. Must be something wrong with my comp on the day. Or because the unit composition was different.

Oh btw... are dorfs always tht weak? =p They got creamed by the humans...

Yes, your correct about where to save it. And about the dwarves that something you would wanna ask one of the mod team members about I cant really help you with that.
