AI controlled armies

Whenever I go into battle and have reinforcements, I can't get them to let me control the reinforcements. I uncheck the AI box in the pre-battle screen, but it still has the AI control them in battle. Is there some setting in preferences that I need to change to stop this?

try checking the preferences first with the unlimited me non battlefield thing


if not post your preferences on here and see if someone can spot wat is wrong

if all else fails w8 for lt to read this thread to see if its game related, maybe something to do with the length vs hitpoints.......

what u have to is open preferneces.txt file in ur RTW director C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War and find unlimited_men_on_battlefield and change it from false to true.
