    Default Borrowing Pics

Well i got this power point presentation i have to do soon (my subject is on the greek Hoplite) and i was wondering if i could use some of ya'lls pictures of units for this, since ya'll got some better pictures then ones that can be found; and the detail you have put in is exceptionally well.

I understand if you say no but i was wondering if i could just borrow a picture and not the unit for the game. Again the decision is in your hands.

P.S. i do not know how to mod and i do not want the model just the pics.

If you just want to use the pictures from our previews i cant see any real problems. When is your project needed ill post this in the team section but i really dont see a problem myself.

Maybe just make sure everyone knows where they came from

I would show ya'll what i have so far but right now all i have is some pics of certain Hoplites (Athens and Sparta) and i was hoping to get more of a variety. Also includes music from the soundtrack of 300.

Previews are posted for Argos, Corinth and our old version Boetians as well. You have to post us a link to the powerpoint though so that we can see how it turns out. Since the Thespians were also big at Thermopylae (haven't seen 300 but maybe they're in there), maybe you'll want to include them too.

Only the Arcadians are shown in 300. That vexed me a little. I was terribly vexed.

Actually the Thespians make an appearance in the 1962 film The 300 Spartans. They don't look too historically accurate but at least they wear armour! I liked that film, all the actors had balls.

The Thespians were in the 300 comic, it was a little disappointing they weren't in the movie. Especially since their deaths resulted in a little character development for Ephialtes in the comic (namely that he still sympathized with the Greeks more than the Persians).

I think showing some Thespians would get a bit of a cheer, because they looked so rad. Be sure to distinguish them as not being the originators of the synonym for 'actor'.

I should pick up the comic one of these days. I would have liked the film a lot more if there was some character developement.

I get the impression they were just trying to make the most hardcore movie possible.

Presented the presentation not too long ago. It went very well, got a good score too. Put in a good word for ya, and all too. Not to mention some info given no one took the time to look up on the greeks (especially the Thespians at Therm).

By the way i removed my real name from the title because i do not wish to give it away. I hope you can understand my reasoning behind this.

Oh and how do i pst a link for ya'll to see? i've never done that before.
