Byzantine Empire Question

Hi vespers, I was wondering if you could clear up a question I have about your mod. Your Byzantine Empire's Infantry don't seem to exist, at least I can't train them.

I fixed this problem by removing the "And tumid_invasion_counter1" line from the descr_buildings.txt file. Was this intentional or was the counter supposed to allow the infantry to be trained later?

Also, the English banners seem to be bugged, I had to revert back to vanilla english banners. THo this is probibly just a problem with my download.

They should be recruitable from the Militia drill square in a large city.

This is an era trigger. Once you see the Sicilian Vespers and Catalan Vengeance events you should be able to recruit the late units.

That explains it then, I pushed the starting date back (to 1250 and started a .5 year/turn campaign (so I could have more turns), and with it I changed the event triggers so they were still historical. I'd have to wait a good 100 turns before I could train late units (so I got rid of the requirements).

Otherwise I love the mod, awesome new skins and units.

I have experienced a problem with Byzantium as well. Every time Constantinople gets besieged I get a billion florin defecit that increases by the second.
