Its a mod that was made a while back which made the province borders on the campaign map into just one colour for each faction instead of another secondary colour with it.

Search button is your friend, try it.

REALLY? I find it harder to see map information. e.g. HRE looks invisible. only works for factions like the pope or keivan rus in portvcale

You could do this yourself. Just open descr_sm_factions and change the secondary color to the same as the primary color for each faction. I liked this when playing Rome Total Realism. I think it gives your empire a sense of unity.

Goatbuster3000, the only problem with that is that some factions (like Portugal and Papacy) share the same primary colour, so you wouldnt be able to distinguish them.

Oh, yeah I noticed that when I just tried adjusting them. I just (very lazily) changed the colors for one of the factions. It may not be pretty, but it works. The same thing happened with the Timurids and Holy Roman Empire.

do not know if you are still looking for the mod... because this is a really old thread. but here is the link to my own. works with ss 5.1
