Pb launching RTRPE 1.8

Hi all,

I recently downloaded and installed RTRPE 1.8 from this forum, and I do not know how to launch it. The desktop shortcut doesn't work and there is no .exe in the ACTIVISION folder...

For your information, the shortcut's target is "C:\programfiles\activision\rome - totalwar\RTR_platinum.ico" -show_err starting in "C:\Programfiles\activision\rome - totalwar"


Game is patched 1.5.

Any idea ?

ico is the mistake
you must make from RTR_platinum.ico to your orginal rtw exe
