SP game Lifespan

Hi,
Im just wondering if i dont play online, what would be the lifespan of all the single player elements of the game?
A week? more or less?

All depends on how much you like the time period, and if there were a SP element to the game. But the MP game is great just go into the Chat Lobby and we have games up all the time.

The N2:TW SP game consists solely of custom battles and a single historical battle. The Battle of Borodino scenario is great, but the custom battles aren't because the A.I. is unsuited to Napoleonic warfare (in the Borodino scenario they got round this by heavy scripting), so all in all the SP lifespan is very short.

Thanks for the feedback, A shame the game's hardcoded design has made the AI only work with heavy scritpting.
I would play online, but ive never tried it even with RTW or SPQR, im too crap!
Probably just go back to SPQR when i get bored of the other games im playing at the minute.
I like the time period, but probably be biased towards the British and think their units should be invincible! Although i have seen they are a defensive nation, which would suit my playing style.

[S]piers I would recommend you trying NTW2 in the chat lobby. That is where we play and we welcome anyone. If you are not a pro in MP you will be shortly. The NTW community is small and tight-nit and we are more then happy to have a 1v1 to help you get into the game. SP battles are nothing compared to what happens in the MP lobby. So please, don't tarry at coming and playing just because you are not "good enough".

Furthermore, though I do not play as the Redcoats, you will find them to be an outstanding defensive nation, a capable match for any playing style. They work well in team games as a front line, or they work out well as a stern 1v1 playing faction too. They also have rockets, which alot of folks seem to enjoy, if not for their accuracy but for their charm shall we say.

There is also a game playing style that might help ease you into the riggors of MP gaming in NTW2 called LoV. You gain florins everytime you lose a battle and lose florins everytime that you win. This might help you to learn the ropes and also develop your playing style as many of our members participate in these games. I'm stuck around 9800 florins right now myself.
