Default Extremely slow response to orders

My PC has been suffering a strange kind of lag which is apparently not related to high graphical settings and other related settings. I have been suffering from this lag that hit my PC about a month ago.

It is basically: When I send orders to my PC such as tell my BF2 character to move forward and fire 2 shots...he stays still, after 2-->15 seconds I get a response and my guy moves according to my orders.

How I know it's not related to high settings would be that lags suffered from high settings will lower the FPS rate and not the response rate.

It is not spy-ware as I already scanned my PC using SpyBot-Search&Destroy.

Really need help, as this error is making games unplayable.

Have you tried defraging your HD? You also might try scanning your cp with some other programs as well. Sometimes one program won't catch everything, might have to try 2-3 to be sure. How much HD space do you have available? Have you installed anything since just before you first noticed it?

    I didn't defrag since ages...maybe that's the reason, I'll do it now.
I have a low amount of HD, a few GB's only.
Last thing before this problem started that was installed is Deamon Tools.

Thanks for your help, let's hope defraging fixes this.

Oh crap , defragment increased performance but didn't kill the error (note that I freed tons of space so I can manage to defragment so that also didn't work).
    What are your suggestions guys?

buy another HDD internal or external and copy your data to it, then do a reinstall

This is a well known issue now, caused by input driver conflicts. You need to use a batch file to launch the BF2 executable in low priority. It helps a lot.

    Scroll down to Step 3 (a, b, c).

Thanks but none of them are working for me , decreasing the priority still caused latency (delay lag, the one I'm getting) and increasing it like the last guide increased latency by a HUGE amount...I couldn't even move the guy one step until 1 hour!!
This is making BF2 unplayable...I hope there are more solutions to this simple but annoying error.

    Thanks for your support!

Is it just BF2 or does it do that even on desktop? If it just suddenly started happening in every game, you might try system recovery. If it's just BF, you could try full reinstall. I can't think of anything else, sorry.

it looks like this is the only solution...if you guys have any other non-reinstaller way please tell me about it.
