    Default Sicilian Campaign

    I started a new campaign with Sicily as soon as I downloaded LTC 2.2.
    Sicily has a good starting position. Its provinces are surrounded by sea and pope in the north.

    VH/VH
    At the start I quickly conquered the province of Tunis. The rebels provided and unexpected resistance and I lost over half my troops. Soon after that I conquered one of the sardininan islands. After this I thought I might settle down...

    Venice invade! They blockaded the port of Naples and made naval invasion to Palermo. Unfortunately, I had only my 2 star general and 4 units of Peasants and Venetians had 4 units of town militia, 2 units of hardy italian spear militias. I managed to beat them, only few of my troops remained. After that Venice offered a ceasefire and I accepted. I also allied with them, hoping to get a good friend to fight on my side. Now, I thought I had time to build up my empire until...

    The Byzantines Invade! I saw their darn ship approaching but I never saw that it included a full stack of byzantine scums! They also sended a half stack, to further increase their odds...

    But king Roger fought bravely against the huge army of Slavos Limas, general of the byzant army. Unfortunately, that was not enough...

    Now what? They conquered my most profitable province! I had -1500 florins in some point and had to disband half of my naval forces to get a positive income again! Suprisingly I managed to get a ceasefire with the Byzantines but I swear, I'll REVENGE one day...For King Roger!!! But my economy is certainly ruined...

    And all this has happened in 20 turns from the start. Can't wait to kick some byzantine ass! Great campaign so far.

    Yes. Oh, and btw, after some playing I got wiped out of the map (well they blockaded every single port I had and I had no armies left and economy was broken)by the super coalition of Moors and Byzantine Empire (they were allies)...I thought Sicily would be a piece of cake! See how Byzantine Empire has expanded in couple of turns...*Sigh* I never had the chance to revenge the death of Roger.

    Uh,, that's ridiculous, why are spanish and milanese troops on the same island trying to take your settlement? Even in 40 turns, The Spanish should be fighting the moors and the milanese france or venice. Lmao, well if you want it to be hard..

    As strange as this may sound, I experienced a similar scenario playing Sicilians Vanilla. It was too easy however, I need to consider replaying them using this mod. Very Interesting!
    Great mountains vanish but mighty warriors not;
    Press on your molars;
    Offer god your skull;
    Pin your foot into ground;
    Behold opposing flanks but disregard their breadth;
    And know that victory comes from the All Mighty.

    I got somethign like this on my very first campaign after the patch, can't remember which mod, but as Milan i found myself having to fight off just about everyone as they sent random stacks over to me, and this was in the first ten turns. :'(
