70's rush, of course.
"Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone, you may still exist, but you have ceased to live." - Mark Twain
"I am against nature. I don't dig nature at all. I think nature is very unnatural. I think the truly natural things are dreams, which nature can't touch with decay." - Bob Dylan
"Faith in God means believing, absolutely, in something with no proof whatsoever. Faith in humanity means believing, absolutely, in something with a huge amount of proof to the contrary. WE are the true believers." - Joss Whedon
Rush suck!111!
On a more serious note, I was just thinking about them today. Where is a good place to start? Both of you can answer.
Get one of there albums of course i like Fly By Night but that is my pick there is also 2112 and Farewell to kings also there first album simply called Rush which has Zeppelin influnances.
'moving pictures' is a very simple, catchy, mainstream album, but still has the rush sound. if you want to try them and you like classic rock, get that album.

80's Rush.
Tom Sawyer, Limelight, and Spirit of Radio are better than any of their older songs. The guitar in Spirit of Radio is the reason I started playing guitar myself.
2112 is too spaced out for my tastes.
70's Rush >>> 80's Rush
In the 80's Rush began to stray from the hard rock sound and towards a more electronica sound.
Livia I suggest you check out the following songs:
- Working Man (Rush)
- In the Mood (Rush)
- Fly By Night (Fly By Night)
- 2112 (2112) - Especially the 1st two parts"
- Closer to the Heart (A Fairwell to Kings)
- Circumstances (Hemispheres)
- Spirit of the Radio (Permanent Waves)
- Freewill (Permanent Waves)
- Tom Sawyer (Moving Pictures)
- Limelight (Moving Pictures)
- Subdivisions (Signals)
Righto, will do.
