Playing as India

Has anyone else fixed the nonplayables to playable and played as the indians yet? just wondering if anyone else enjoys playing with them more than any other faction in the game

Well Since im testing the latest version i get to play as the brand new badass Indians. And I have to say they are pretty damn fun to use.

They have a far more unique style of warfare than you'd be used to.

how is the new version coming along anyways? well playing as india in patch 2 is fun so i assume it won't change a lot for the next version.

From what i've experienced fighting against the old Beta 2 Indians as the Persians, that 'unique style' of warfare would be the fact that all their units are made of paper except their elephants, which not even a nuclear explosion could destroy (although it might frighten them a bit

) Every time I face an indian army it's a nail-biting race to make all their elephants go berserk before they manage to make it to my line of Anusyia. Once they do, more often than not, a single unit of elephants can destroy a full stack of Anusyia by itself. I can see them being a bit broken in the hands of a human player unless they're made a little less indestructible (though I figure the team is probably well aware of that already, and is sorting it out now/already has)

I have no cities as of now that have the capabilities to create elephants at the moment. I'm not to far in years yet in the game but i have conquered all of what India is as of now. I'm working my way to Persia, but i know that it will be a dogfight with them and Babylon since i trail them both in military and financially.
