Problem with game settings

Hi, i've been using this mod for a while now and had no complaints whatsoever (i'm quite grateful: great mod!)... untill today when i organized and defragged 2 of my HDD partitions and re-installed med2 1.1 + LTC on a different (non-system) partition. Now when i start the game the video, game and audio settings reverse to default (only the keyboard settings stick as i saved them in-game), so for example when i open ltc i need to change video options like shader 2 to 1 and readjust resolutions... very annoying... i don't know what exactly i did wrong as i barely made a few text-based modifications before starting the game (since re-installation). one thing i thought might be it was the fact that i changed the medieval2.preference to 'read-only', so i thought: hey that's why the changes won't stick!... wrong... help, please!... and my apologies for the long post.

It's a problem with the mod switch and the .cfg file for mods that use them. You need to make the changes to your settings in Medieval 2, then run cfgfixer.bat and your changed settings will be in LTC.

Oh that explains why it was working before!, thanks Lusted.
Now, is it really necessary to run cfgfixer.bat? It wasn't needed before i reinstalled the game. Anyway thanks again for the quick reply.

If you want the changed settings you've made in M2Tw to show in LTc you need to run it.
