I've seen the same here, when they denied an offer of military access they replied with something like 'you would allow our english armies to access your lands' (something to that effect anyways), which seemed very out of place...

The Danes, I swear, with their half arsed attempts at a 'war'. You gotta give it to 'em, they just dont stop trying. Listen, I've fought the Timurids, ever heard of them? Elephants with cannons on their backs. Yea, Timurids. You guys are like kids on tricycles compared to them. -REZ

I can Third this reprot for me it seems to be Poland, Danes and Hungary that reply with English Voices in both the audio and I have also seen english in the text of the polish diplo screen.

    Perhaps Fingers could solve.

i will look at that problem later, maybe next weekend...

did you try the old fix (copying all files from the patched vanilla sounds folder into the dlv sounds folder?

Sorry for getting your name wrong Lord Finga,

Thanks for dropping by actually I have not tried the old fix I will likely do so tonight and see if it solves it.

I was a bit hesistant since I saw the words in test read english as well rather then just the voice and I doubted copying the sound files over would solve that.

The effected states are Danes, Pols, Hungary, English of course.

I think Venice is the only exception to this rule as far as reddish flagged states go

    Your advice is appreciated Finga,

    Naz

Copying over all the sound files and overwriting the dups in the DLV folder appears to have solved this for me FYI all.

    Nazkai,
copying the sound files also solved the issues with the text? Because the text is also set to England, see screenshot:

Also, you copied ALL the files and not just audio.* and events.* top the DLV_ext\data\sounds folder? Just want to check if I just need those.

i didn't try this with dlv 2.2, but with 2.11 the sound issues could only be solved by copying over all files in the dlv-sound folder with the vanilla files.

regarding the text-problems i don't think this fixes these.

I got the Text errors too and I Am not sure those are solved as yet Shadrach.

BTW is that as in Shadrach Meshach and Abendigo?

    heh

Anyways I know it solves the audio which is the most annoying part and yes as Finga Points out You copy the sounds folder from your medieval data folder into your DLV>Data>Sounds folder and ofcourse back things up first just in case but I had no issues.

Hehe, thats right Nazkai, as in

We're just three MCs and we're on the go
    SHADRACH, MESACH, ABADNEGO!

    Also in the bible... apparently

Well status is, I copied just events.dat and events.idx from the vanilla folder, and now both danes and hungarians speak with an accent (is it greek or russian I wonder?). The text seems like it's back to normal too, although I havent tried it that much yet - seen no reference to England yet.

Aye you have the right of it it was those 2 files that did the trick for me too and I thought its odd if they do fix the text but yeah the voices are much better then hearing English accents in Eastern Europe thats for sure.

Never heard of the MC's Myself but I was talking with a friend here at work today about the Babalyonian King Nebucadnezzer who tossed Shadrach Meshach and Abendego into a furnace since they did not worship his god.

They where spared the story in the bible goes by an angel afterwards Nebcadnezzer supposedly proclaimed that anyone who did not follow the God of Shadrach Meschah and Abendgo would be "Cut to peices and thier houses made into dung hills"

Guy changed his mind quick I guess.

    LOL

Edit: Ahh of course it was Beastie Boys: “Shadrach“

Glad your files are working now Shadrach.
