Icon12 Missing torches in night battles.

All those little lights in the distance give something mystical to the game,
I have tried to put the torches back like all the torch.txt files and textures in the IBFD\data folder but was unable to see them back, anyone have a clue how to get them back?

    the relevant file would be
...RTW/ibfd/data/models_units/attachments/attachments.txt am not sure about the exact file but I removed those torches for two reasons,
1 -u should see the kontos bearers w/ torches, and
2 -there seems to be a bug where torches ae being used in 'noon' battles but anyway, ur welcome to get them back in

Thank you Ramon, the game looks better now.
Indeed it was the soldier_attachments.txt file.

A bug that has torches at noon?

Does anyone know how to mod torch-related files so that torches are present during the day? Or, failing that, set all battles to night battles by default but enable new night skies to be used?

hmmm... am using Archer's skymod but w/ some modified files from Goth, since I didn't notice the torches at noon in skymod only then Goth's modifications might have done it... I think he only edited battlemap lighting, though... so there must be something there... if I catch on to something will PM u

EDIT: now I think about it, there was a report of torches on the engines!!!, haven't noticed this yet so couldn't say for certain. if so, then might be 'attachments' related?...

I have looked at attachments, torch files and a lot of other things and can only guess that the torches trigger due to a hardcoded detection of it being 'night'. But I would like to learn more if anyone has any information.

I need to know how to have torches permanently.
