Help with MM Mod!

Hey guys! This is my first post on here so please don't bite my head off if I post in the wrong place!

I need your help on how to install or get working the MUNDUS MAGNUS mod, if anyone has heard of it?

This is the first mod I want to install ever, so yes! I'm a noob!

I followed the instructions perfectly, yet the game crashes before I even see the menu, it won't even load. What am I doing wrong please!

I have UN-modded Rome Total War v1.5 and Barbarian Invasion 1.6 installed.

Maybe I need Rome Total War v1.2 only like the instructions said?

Yep

If instructions said it wants v1.2 you can't install it on a later patch, they are quite different in a lot of small annoying ways guaranteed to make mod installed on wrong version crash!

I think there was a later version of MM map someone developed around somewhere, though I'm not sure if it was only for v1.3? There are also quite a few more recent mods that use variations on the MM map for provincial campaigns etc. (I think from memory possibly BareBonesWars ?) Try having a search for other versions of MM - and perhaps someone else can help on which mods incorporated it?

It states MM 1.2 for 1.5. It works with patch 1.5. :-)
