Bad Performance While Battles
ok title ses the problem, its ok in the campgin map, i jsut get realy bad frames per second during battles, i dont even run siege battles since its basicly imposible to play, even with everying on low/lowest ,, ive tryed updating my AtI cards drivers ( i think i might even have latest version) but i get a message:
"Unauthorised like download permission"
My Pc Specs:
Manufacturer: System manufacturer

Video Card: ATI Radeon 9550
Monitor: Plug and Play Monitor

Speakers/Headphones: Medusa 5.1 Surround Headset
Keyboard: Logitech G15
Mouse: Logitech G5
Mouse Surface: Kensington™
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)
Please help and give some good advise/ ideas to help me boost my in game performance.

If your running in shader model 2 change it to shader model 1 and disable shadows if you haven't already.
My main concern is your very poor graphic card you shoudl really consider gettign it upgraded. A 9600SE is the mininum so your below that with your 9550.

i have a spare, Nvidia GeForce 6800 (ISUS) 128
would i be better using that?

Follow this guide.
If anything, uninstall your driver and the Catalyst Control Center and use ATI Tray Tools and set it to the settings in the guide.
Nvm: I didn't realize your card was below minimum specs.

Your system is just not good enough to enjoy M2TW.. Get MTW1 or play RTW with mods which is really better.

A Gforce 6800 is a hell of a lot better than a 9550, can't believe you would use a 9550 when you have oen of those laying around lol.

may i say a Sh!t load of improvement ,, no lag, no fps drop on battles,
only prob now is siege battles which im not too keen on anyway, normaly end up ketting owned on that 
Anyway in 3 hours im going to Canada with My School Football team for 2 weeks :> ( im from england btw )

I hate sieges too I always auto resolve. Glad to see you can play, though!
