    Default Siege problem

    Hi,
I play as Byzantines and came out with a problem.
I sent my king to take over Crete from Venice. Before the King i sent a spy and i saw that in the city there was only a general/family member. So, thanks to a small luck of money, i sent the King with a unit of spearmen and a light cavalry unit. As soon as i put the city under siege, it became full stuck. They attacked me in the next turn but i didn't give the battle. Then all of them attacked me again except their general/family member.
After the battle i killed them all and put the city under siege again (in the city was once more only the general/family member). For second time the city became full stuck. I gave one more time exactly the same battle, won and as soon as i try to siege the empty city, it becomes full stuck again.
Has anyone find a way to deal with that? It’s getting boring.

I don't know how to say this without appearing to look a bit nasty but you only have two options:

    1) Send more men! I frequently hire a bunch of local mercenaries.
    2) Don't play a mod with a garrison script, like DlV.

It's ok. Not nasty at all. Both are good advices. Thanks.
