I have a craving for some good Rave.

I'm a European, and one thing we young Euro's like is heavy Club rave. I don't like that lighter stuff, I like the heavy 'I-might-be-tripping-but-I-don't-know' stuff.

I'm a fan of Cosmic Gate and DJ Atmospherek with a few others thrown in.

I also liked this one song that went 'Here we go!!' and then had a heavy bass and stuff.

Anywho does anybody have any good HEAVY techno artists?

Went to a jump party sunday! was great, but iI couldn't dance cause I had hurt my leg during some trouble with some guy over his ex and the fact she was standing next to me and talking to me.

there's an american who calls himself gold inferno, he's trying to make jumpstyle popular in america. his first video's where not good but he's improving. here he's doing rather well for a beginner




EDIT: this guy is a hero! he went on this tv show competition called: so you think you can dance, to promote Jumpstyle in the us. He reallyis doing everything he can isn't he?

It would be cool to see something different come out of america instead of all the blacks going: I'm a gangsta and sleep with 1000 woman in one night! or the long haired guys going: I'm so unhappy I'm sad and unhappy now listen to the guitar and feel how sad I am, or the blonde girls going: I'm easy and happy and dumb now do this silly dance with me, etc..

at least this music doesn't have to use words to connect to you, it doesn't seduce you by pretending to understand how you feel, it doesn't need a team of psychologists to analyze todays youth to create a song. It's just good mixed sounds that drives you to heaven

That's not heavy that's trance, I'm not much into GOA but I'll remain friendly and not call anything "ghey"

but generally when I think of heavy I think of hardcore:

I usually only like this when I'm on speed tough otherwise I'm more into trance tough out of nostalgia I do listen to a lot of the old happy hardcore stuff from the 90's and other songs from back then, seeing how MTV and TMF etc.. won't play house music unless it has some kind of lyrics the scéne died a bit. I miss those days and it's music and the whole atmosphere of it being new and all

not much, It's not bad, but it's comercial

I like them a lot. I have not had much of an exposure to this kind of music, so I can't tell how they are commercial but they sound cool to me .

You bring up a good point sabaku. One of the reasons techno has become so popular in Europe is that there are no words, so everyone in every country can hear good music without not understanding it. You're right about alot of American music too, but not all of it is bad .
