Wow what is that

Hello
While playing spqr i activated the script as one should,
then about 2 turns in i have all the messages come all at once on the left hand side,you know the ones that inform you of something happening.
Is this normal or just a glitch in the game many thanks

you probably forgot to activate the script during one of your savegame loads, somewhere along the way

That happens when the script gets messed up I think. someone else should answer better though.

Look at the year ! It is 280 AD ?!

If it is 280 AD your save game is messed up

It's not unusual to see more than a dozen end-of-turn messages. Just read them and take whatever action you deem necessary. Personally, unless they promise a large financial reward, I ignore the Senate completely.

yes, but he's talking about the historical event news items, like "hand pump invented", "plague in macedonia", etc etc, and how they will ALL come scrolling down at the beginning of one turn, probably 40+ of them. this results from somewhere along the way not activating the script when loading a savegame

yeah i had this while playing EB 0.81a with 4tpy it happened wen i activated script twice (it prompted me twice in same turn, i thought that i couldnt have actually clicked it) and the year went to 100 AD from 272 BC with all historical events that happened between having occurred and messages on the left
