Default Please recommend motherboard and RAM for new system

I am in the process of ordering a new system but I need some help with the motherboard and RAM. I want to order the following system:

    Core 2 Duo E6400
    2GB RAM
    WD Raptor 10k 150GB
    8800 GTS 640MB

I am ordering from http://www.ewiz.com because they ship to Germany and seem to have good prices and shipping costs.

I need help with the motherboard and RAM (2GB). Basically, I don't want to overclock the CPU right off the bat, I would like to OC it maybe 6 months after I buy it. But I don't want a crazy OC, i've heard you can OC the E6400 to 3.0GHZ on air, if you have the right RAM and motherboard, that would be enough for me. Also, the motherboard needs to be able to accomodate the 8800GTS, I've heard some can't. I will be buying the computer case locally so I don't need to order it from them.

For the mobo I was looking at this:
    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-965PDS3
I like the price, and it says it supports Core 2 Duo and has 1 PCI express x16 slot for the 8800GTS. Also would the WD Raptor 10k work properly with this mobo?

For the RAM I was looking at getting 2GB in the Super Talent chips since they seem to have good prices. Remember I don't really care too much about oc'ing, I just want to have the option to do a simple OC on air in the future with this system.

Here is the link with some of the Super Talent chips:
    http://www.ewiz.com/query.php?dp=2&c...or=#displaytop

Those CL4 and CL5 chips on that page look pretty good and cost $141 and $155. Please recommend me one.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

The MoBo you picked (Gigabyte 965P) is a great over-clocker, the best as far as I have heard.

The DS-3 is the basic model, there is also a DS-4 and DQ-6 which are just as fast but packed with more features
They are also more expensive so if your not going to use those features then the DS-3 is a great pick.

    As for memory:
I think G.E.I.L. currently makes the best quality DDR2 for the money, followed by OCZ.
MDT makes good and cheap standard DDR2, but it won't clock much faster than what it's advertised for. (So MDT DDR2-800 won't reach far beyond 400MHz)

    The E6400 has a 8X multiplier.
Which means you'll have to clock your FSB at 3000/266=375Mhz to reach 3Ghz.
Standard DDR2-800 can reach at least 400Mhz, so that's more than enough.
You could spend some extra on your RAM to get the latencies down (CL5 is standard, CL4 is good, CL3 is the best I've seen so far), but it's not necessary unless you plan to OC your E6400 beyond 3.2Ghz.
I don't know how much of a difference those latencies it will make in the real world, so I don't know if the extra $100-$200 is really worth it. (you could also spend it on a better graphics card, for example).

I am not sure about others experience with ewiz but mine recently was a nightmare. 3 weeks, 9 phone call and I finally got what i ordered via next day shipping due to the fact they sent the wrong item.

That could be a major nightmare for an oversees shipment gone wrong. Just keep that in mind.

    damn that sucks.
If I could find an alternative with good prices like ewiz, and overseas shipping I would take it, but I can't really seem to find any.

Yes, the prices on ewiz are exceptionally low.
But this only makes me suspicious.

To be honest I'd gladly pay a few % extra to be certain they won't rip me off and to get better service.
