A Couple Questions about DM

So I just installed the latest version, patched it to 8.1, and everything is working fine. I just have a couple of questions to help me get set up and full experience the gameplay.

1) Do I just run the game off of the original RTW and RTW:BI shortcuts? or do i have to clone them with tags such as -show_err -mod:

2) Is DarthMod a 4tpy script? Do I need to activate it(and if so how)? Is there a mod out there perhaps by marcus camelius that is a 4tpy script compatable with this version of DarthMod(*crosses fingers*)?

3) I was checking the multi-player compatability thread, and was wondering about the part mentioning must have DarthFormations 16.2 for 8.1. So which version of DarthFormations is included in the patch dowload(Which I downloaded yesterday) or do i need to download the superpack and replace the old formations_ai and formations files manually with the 16.2 ones for DM.

4) Which program/website/server thing is everyone using to play multi-player? Gamespy Arcade? Do I need to install that if I didn't when I installed fresh copy of RTW? How/Where do I install it from if game is already set up? If not gamespy is there another way to Multi-play? I know this sounds like a newb questions, but i didn't have the internet at my house till a few months ago and I was taking a break from pc gaming due to time constraints for several months, and didn't have the internet to multi-play before that.

5) Is there anywhere the gives some details on the different campains? There are quite a few, and I was confused as which to play, which are which, etc. for both reg RTW and RTW:BI. I did see the description in the Dowload page for DarthMod 8.0 Dark Edition, but was still confused as to the campains matching to which campain name.

6) Is the Marvius's fix for the 7.5 problem neccesary and a fix over and above the 8.1 patch?

That's about all the questions I have atm. I'd appreciate any help in this matter, and also if anyone would like to multi-play please let me know. I haven't multi-played before, but I'm sure it will be fun. I'l not to shabby on the campain map, and am anxious to test my skills in the ancient arts of wars against a like minded and skilled opponent.
