so i know you are busy to get the mod working but i have some suggestion concerning map of Khwarezm empire !
when you look at this maps you should really consider to extend your map to the east so that you include the whole expansion of this empire. And so you could may include some other islamic faction in a new mod:
1190 A.D.
1218 A.D.

Thank you for your ideas.I agree with you about an extension to the east ,in the game the vanilla map unfortunately does not include the east and that's a great disadvantage.

I am infinitely sorry. I misphrased my question and it is entirely my fault. I meant that are you ever going to incorporate more regions/cities in your mods? Like add more cities and stuff. It was totally my bad.

No,Little_Mikey I completely understood you.Now about modding adding new regions is a different area.
But what I have in mind I would really like to see the vanilla map stretched to the East of the Caspian Sea and a bit more south to Africa.I think that would make the map seem like an actual world map.I hope I will implement a bigger map in the upcoming mods.
About imam unit currently it has a missing tga.I uploaded it yesterday but due to the CTD problem we all know,I had to take it off since now we are using the rapidshare version of the Khwarezm mod.Don't worry about it I'll prepare today a small patch which I will post today fixing all the minor bugs including the pink diplomat(princess) things plus the reduced movement bug fix and also the problem with Denmark.
Because I don't want to make you guys wait for the v1.1. of the mod.The mod you mentioned is Burebista's Regnum Dei mod.And it's an excellent idea to use a similar script for Capitals I agree with you.

About the Faction accent.When you create a new faction,a random accent is adopted automatically by the game.As you say currently the Kwarizmian has Greek accent.
CA had already released sound files that can be edited.However for us to change the accent properly there are several files need to be deleted from sound folder.It is kind of risky I know that only too well because I lost the sound of my game when trying to edit the faction accents.
Therefore,for now I can't take the risk of uploading such files and cause the people to have "silent" mtw 2.But Hans Kloss knows a lot about this issue.And in the first or second page of the Eastern Princesses mod thread he said that anyone have problems with the sound files contact me.
Duke Gibbons the CTD is fixed you may redownload to fix the problem.(it's hosted in rapidshare just click the download button of the mod.)
Also it comes with an uninstaller go to your medieval II total war folder.There is an uninstaller there doubleclick on it and it uninstalls the mod completely.

ok, i think it is an old mod incompatibility, it changed a few files and i cant find which ones! Ill try a reinstall of M2TW.
does your mod require M2TW too be unpacked? im resuming yes.

BTW Leuano another person(NaptownKnight) who has experienced CTD told me that now he is able to run the mod without problem.He also said he is using PortvCAle and Bigmap mods,so my mod seems compatible with them.
He downloaded from rapidshare and installed it.Hopefully he will give some details about how he made it work so you can use the same method if there is any.![]()

All I did was dl from rapid share and play. Actually I may also have deleted that other file that zeph was talking about earlier in this thread Battle something in the data folder. It works fine for me now![]()
Hi i just installed your mod...looks good and works just fine now.Khwarezmian look ok,just problem with Imam unit, that it showns peasant unit from RTW on descriptiion page.I noticed Danmark is in 300000 minus!-10000 is ok to slow their expansion at start
Zeph, you said it was annoying whn capital cities of factions are conqured early on, such as Constantinopel?I remember one of earliest mods whn you attack enemy citie or castel it automatically spawns new units to protect.That was applied to every city, but what if you can apply that only to capitols?To spawn one of best units, in Constantinopel, two or three Varangian guard would appear and some more other units, trebizond archers or something.If faction is left only with one city or castle it would mean a lot.Only really overwhelming forces would be able to destroy a faction...(why are Mongols dancing my head now)
Its something to think about.
Also as you add more factions, maybe it is nescesery to add more provinces if there isnt some new cool feature in expansion availble that changes strategie without adding more provinces, like extra upkeep in enemy territorie, more villages or settlements or whatever in single territorie...Continue map bit east and where new faction is added, two or three new provinces are needed, for balancing issues.
Anyways, thanks for making this mod for community and extremly enhancing gameplay and immersion in M2TW.I could never go back to vanilla game after this...

Just a few minor issues with the mod: The Kwar's have I think either the greek or east euro speech, I spotted some pink diplomats who were described as princesses, and it seems movement rates have been decreased or something. Ittakes something like six turns to go from Jedda to Baghdad. Otherwise these are definetly the best factions I have seen added to a game, they are complete, balanced, and they all have a good colour scheme.
Yes i just wanted to say the same...one thing more, forgot to add.Norse Archers have attack like 15 and defence 17.Is it supposed to be like that?
Becouse Jannisary Heavy Infantry have attack like 12 and defence 10...They were some of best soldiers of their time, having something close to spartan upbringing.I think thier stat needs bit tweaking.Also i have noticed that all shields in game give defence bonus of like 6.Its ok if its like big shield, but buckler should be like 3 or something.
