No unit speech on the battlefield
How comes the Scots have no speech but th English and some other factions do? I installed DLV 2.11 and copied the missing sound files from the MTW folder to the DLV folder. Anyone else expierienced this kind of problem? It's strange to me.

Re: No unit speech on the battlefield
yes, also noticed that with scotland and france. but i now copied all files from the sounds folder from vanilla and copied also over the existing files in the dlv sounds folder. didn't test it with the scots and french but with the Milanese there is no problem... although i don't know if there were any issues before with them. but i think its worth trying after having made a backup from the original dlv files.
EDIT: o_O! sry, just noticed that you spoke about the units and not the general's speeches. didn't become aware of this problem ever, but maybe my suggestion also works for your problem?

Indeed, overwriting rthe existing files solved the problem. Thank you Lord Finga. Any Idea what's about those existing ones? What should they do?

hm, no sry, don't even know what's been changed in them compared to the vanilla files since i made the mistake i tried to prevent you from: i didn't make a backup of the dlv-files. maybe you could diff them and the vanilla files and state the diffrences here if there aren't too many? would be interesting...

I will do so if I find any differences. Thanks again.

Tried it now for a couple of rounds, no difference to me. I guess the problem is solved.
