Unfortunately the only Armenian kingdom that has tons of pictoral references is the ancient period kingdom (Urartu 850-590BC). However, these are pictures of what an Armenian general probably looked like. They are scenes from Vartanantz, which ended in the Battle of Avarayr between Persia and Armenia in 451. The general is Vartan Mamikonian.

Unfortunately that is all I can find in terms of pictoral sources.

EDIT: Here is a link to the thread where a mod for MIITW, The Gathering Storm, is creating an Armenian faction from the same time period (395AD).

EDIT2: Also, the capital of Armenia should be Dvin, not whatever it is at the moment (Taran?), and Armenia should have control of Van I think.

EDIT3: One last tiny thing, the Arkah should not be Artashes, but Vramshapouh (reigned until 414). Vramshapouh's eldest son was Artashes, but the person who inherited the throne from Vramshapouh was the Persian prince Shapur. The Nakharars overthrew Shapur and put Artashes on the throne, but Artashes was a bad king apparently according to the histories.

I hope this helps as well!

Ramon, I was able to locate a pictoral source for Armenian troops from this period, and I thought you might want to see them...

also, possible new buildings or so as unique for armenians?
p.s.: i've greatly appreciated the look of theose troops, since looks really a mixture of eastern and roman style.

I continued the unit conversation with Ramon via PM, and referenced him to the Gathering Storm mod for MIITW that has a pretty good idea of the Armenian Army's composition at this time. (basically not very Persian, more Roman influenced)

About unique buildings (do you mean wonders?), the cathedral of Echmiadzin comes to my mind. Built in the early 300's, I believe it is the oldest cathedral in the world. It would be nearby Artaxata in its own city which back then was called Vagharshapat.

Hi, I've just played Invasio Barbarorvm VII and I've found some things that were not at its' best, from my point of view.

    Too large horse unit quantity.

The Huns. It's not quite clear why they have two similar horse archers classes. Maybe the balance of armour/defence skill should be changed for one of them? In common, it's a problem playing some factions that they have too many units.

The Parsarmenians. I'm not sure but maybe it's better to replace 'em with Alan caganate that ruled the Caucasus and the North of Black Sea region before the invasion of huns? The latters made alans a part of their tribal alliance but later alans became free as Danube Alans joined them. Some went to the Western Europe while some returned to the Caucasus and continued resisting the Sassanid Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire till mongols invasion.

Slavs should probably appear some more eastwards, approximately in modern Ukraine territories.

I will also be answering Orthanner's query there
