Like the title says, I just want to now what others have going.

I'll start, using my favorite faction the Ptolemies.

Very nice Empire, but, alas, you are not the first to post a thread of this kind.

Since the other Thread seems to be dead, and this mod really deserves a living "post your empire" thread, here my current greek campaign.

They assaulted patavium, but the romans could hold them back (depleting their last stack). Gauls are now besieging mediolanum, the free people besiege patavium, ravenna and arretium. And rome has no standing army, only some minor garrisons ...
Maybe there is some sort of miracle (or the save/load bug ) and they can get somehow back on their feet.
    Egyptians get pwned by Seleucid.
Sarmatia gets pwned by a Triple Entente of Germans, Parthians and Bosporans (poor buggers).

Played some more turns, took Byzantium and Lysicha whatever (left of Byz).
Even on 1.5 there is sometimes still the save/load-bug (just great ...), and the free peoples have left roman territory. At least the gauls have stayed. No being greeted as Savior of Rome for me ... maybe next time. I was really looking forward to save Rome ...

Edit: can I use the Roma surrectum banner in your sig too?

Yeah at last, 5 turns away from spartans
I don't know yet how many of them I should recruit (gave em higher upkeep and a second hp). I was thinking about a halfstack, either 5-6 spartans, 3-4 archers and a General or just 1 general and 9 spartans. A full stack of them (+support) seems to be way too overpowered.
And I don't know yet where to send them: Sicily, Spain, Britain, Bosphorians, Massilia (having a colony surounded by enemies sounds like fun) or just conquering the Seleucid ...
So, any suggestions how my Spartan army should look like and where they should kick some ass?

Not in the current release, but in Patches to be released in the future, this will be changed.

You will still be comfortable, but you won't be able to have everything at will.

At the moment, I'm playing as Sicily:

I took over the west so that I wouldn't have to worry about my back, and am now working the Romans. I'm at peace with Germania, Gaul is locked in Britain, and Rome has been pushed over to mainland Greece, which is easy to take over as I have a good navy and great cities - Tarentum, Syracuse, Rome - to make good units and thus create a landing force.

    Currently playing as the Romans.

I'm worried about the Seleucids, they're ridiculously huge.

Oh, and BTW, anyone know how to turn off the minimap region borders like some people have it? I think it's a console command, but I can't remember what it was...

Some people may be posting pictures of the new patch, which does eliminate the region borders.

But if you cant wait, you can change it in the descr_sm_factions in the data folder. You will se two lines that look like this:

    primary_colour red 165, green 20, blue 20
    secondary_colour red 165, green 20, blue 20

The primary colour is the main colour, and the secondary is the border. Make them the same and viola! Oh and make a copy of this file as once it stuffed up the whole game and I had to reinstall it.

Well, it has been a loooooong time since I have posted my empire in 270 BC in the other "show your empire" thread Haven't had a lot of time to play due to exams and stuff...
My campaign is on hard/hard btw.

This was my 270 BC Empire

And this is my 260 BC Empire.

In the year 270 BC, I still had my alliance with the Gauls, and in that post a long time ago ( ) I expressed my hope that the alliance would last another 10 years. Then one or two turns later the Gauls started rushing down into Northern Italy, with 4 or 5 stacks, soon to be reinforced by another 3 or 4. Luckily, my Legio II Mediolanum had finished training just in time to start owning those hairy gauls. Some turns later I could go into the offensive with two legions. Did I mention how many stacks they have? For some years, Legio II Mediolanum and Legio I Arretium defeated army after army in those alpine passes, with lots of dead gauls Then they suddenly stopped sending armies and I could finally take some cities. Btw, who said that 0-turn recruitment led to small cities? Massilia, Avaricum, Lugdunum, Narbo Martius, some cities in between and some dumb city in the north, all of them had 12000+ inhabitants. I had lots of fun exterminating them !

In the East, I trained Legio II Illyrica and Legio II Athenica, who are slowly conquering some regions, and meanwhile, my borders are closing in on the Dacians, and those bad, baaaad germans.

The best part of my campaign was in summer 262 BC though (I'm not sure, but isn't that the exact date of the First Punic War?) two First Legions and my Special Forces Squads (the one you see on the picture above me. I love those guys They took like 15 settlements with half a stack ) had finally returned from Greece and were ready to launch an amphibious assault on Sicily. The Syracusians only saw a flash. The invasion forces landed, besieged Catana, Messina and Syracuse. Next turn the three cities were conquered, and by pure coincidence I still had a spy left and my Special Forces Team quickly marched to Agrigentum that same turn, found the gates open, and conquered the city. Syracuse from 4 to 0 in 1 turn! Oh and next turn I declared war on the Carthaginians and took their provinces in the same turn. I owned all of Syracuse by summer 261!!!

The other factions are all doing fine too. Iberia is besieging the last two Carthaginian settlements on Spanish soil as I speak. I also think that Dacia has almost had it... They have a nasty German region in the middle of their homeland...
I'm still having tons of fun with this mod, in fact, it's the only one I've played for so long... I wish I could help all those great modders working on this great mod Keep up the good work lads
