    Default Benchmarking programs

Does anybody know of any good (free) benchmarking programs? I fancy seeing if my computer is running as well as it's meant to.

My next question is going to be "any suggestions on making it run sweeter?" but I'll leave that until I've actually run the benchmark and I have some data

3DMark, which is as challenging as it gets, the ultimate gaming benchmark. Then there are benchmarks only for CPU as well, such as SuperPI.. But you possibly want to try 3DMark, if you're into gaming or so..

You might also check out Prime95 for overall stability (run for 12-24hrs). Or Memtest86 for your memory.

Those two aren't benchmarking programs but they can give you a good idea if your computer's running sweet.
