    Temple of the Dog- Hunger Strike:

    This band was a tribute to some other dude that Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell knew that died. The song is political in nature, but what makes it stand out are Chris Cornell's vocals. I also like that Chris outperforms Eddy Vetter in what was essentially his band: TotD= Pearl Jam + Chris Cornell, with Vetter relegated to singing backup .
