Irish Horde?

Hey all,

First off, I really love the mod.

I am playing England and I have been trying to take Ireland and I keep killing this full stack Irish army. I have killed it four times and each time on the next turn it comes back lol.
It is the same exact army every time, two peasant archers, eight Irish Kerns, nine Glutarks(sp?) Scottish heavy infantry and one general.
I will destroy it and then on the very next turn, poof its back again.
This means that the Irish have an eternal army...was this a glitch? How can I fix it, it is really ruining my game and I love playing the English.
Also, I have noticed that diplomacy is sort of stange. Some factions will never give map information no matter what even if the offer is generous. Once you are at war forget a ceasefire, they will not stop being at war with you for any reason no matter how much damage you do to them...

If anyone has some fixes for these problems that would be great, I really like the mod, but these problems are making things very difficult for me...

That Irish problem seems annoying and hilarious at the same time. It shouldn't be happening unless something in the campaign script does it or they just keep pumping out the same units to make the same clone army. Sorry I couldn't help much...

Hi,

I'm playing the Scots and have got the same problem with the rebels. They keep coming in some places in Scotland and Ireland.

This is really annoying....

Currently I'm playing the beta 1.

Does the beta 2 fix the problem?

I havent touched anything in the campaign script related to this yet. I personally havent experienced it, and all I play is England. I will take a look at it for the next version when I can, unit/recruitment and the map have priority atm.
