Daywatch - (Dnevnoi Dozor)

Any fans here of the Russian film Nochnoy dozor or "Nightwatch?" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0403358/

Basically the forces of light and dark are keeping each other in check by following an ancient code of conduct. It's far too crazy to explain it all but the whole mythology behind it is very cool in my opinion. Also I dont personally see many Russian films and this one blew me away. I could nitpick some parts here and there but theres really no reason to do so. If you're a fan of this type of thing I think you'll love it.

Love that opening scene! I wont spoil it but pay close attention to the cavalry. If you've never seen Nightwatch you wont expect it hehe.

I saw nochonoy dozor in the Cinema, I liked it, tough the nescafé thing whas a bit too much advertising. I wonder how they'll continue the plot seeing as this one seems to be even more of a special effects fest then night watch

I saw Day Watch last year.
I think it's better that Night Watch, which would make sense since the success of the original has allowed them to pour vast amounts of money into the sequel.
