No the battles have been good, only lag in big city battles.

My specs:

Athlon 64 2.6 ghz
2 GB ram
x850 XT 256mb

Huge unit sizes. 7000 to 9000 men in each battle.

where did those principes/hastati units come from with the blue shields? never seen them in SPQR before.

That was a legion that rebelled so I had to exterminate them.

cool, never had a unit rebel....didn't realize they changed colors, that's actually awesome!

In SPQR, when your armies or cities rebel, they join a "roman rebels" faction that is blue, and they will recruit more men if they get your cities and they will fight you. Though sometimes I dont mind if they take a border city and develop it with roman culture for a while and then I take it from them.

Your on huge settings? Cause these are huge battles.

Yes, huge unit size. And yeah they are huge! Thats how RTW is so superiour to M2TW, you can have lots more men on the field with better performance.
