problem with cd key
my friend and i are trying to play online but after getting a gamespy id and trying to log on it told my friend his cd key is invalid. he has a legit cd key where can he reenter it so we can play?

You have to enter the CD-key exactly as it is written (use capital letters and -s) for it to work with gamespy. Not sure where you re-enter it though...

yea he installed it and has been playing the game so we dont get why the cd key isn't working. stupid gamespy...

You have to change it in the regestry editor.
Go to start, run,
regedit
Then window pops up
Go to software, then Sega/Medieval II Total War, then you'll see some files
find CDkey, double click on it, put it in again
Worked fine for me, after that.

both my friend and i tried doin that and we found the sega and medeival folder but not the cd key
